General terms and conditions for use of this website:


Colour

The colours shown on this web-site are for guidance only and will vary depending on monitor and browser type. Colours shown should not be taken as a representation of the true colours or finish of the products.
In addition, the colours represented in the products available from this site may vary from the standard colour references (e.g. RAL, BS, Pantone, NCS etc.) or from other products of the same colour designation. e-paint.co.uk does not accept responsibility for any variation in colour or finish between product ranges and/or suppliers or from variations in colour or finish between or within batches of product from the same supplier nor for any unintended errors on the website/colour database.

The L* a* b* (together with the corresponding HLC, RGB and CYMK) values are based on the average of various measurements using various spectrophotometers using D65 light with a standard observer according to CIE 1964 which may be updated or modified by any other relevant available information. They are not necessarily the L* a* b* figures intended by any standard or supplier specification and should therefore only be used as a guide. The sRGS conversion system used is IEC 61966:2-1 D50 adapted. This conversion may vary from other systems.

It is always recommended that a visual check of colour is made before any major purchase or painting/printing contract.

Finishes

The finishes of the products may vary between suppliers. In addition the terms (e.g. 'textured', 'matt') can mean different  things to different people. Customers must be satisfied that the finish of the product purchased is suitable for their application. e-paint.co.uk cannot take responsibility for differences in finish between suppliers.

Confirmation of order on e-paint.co.uk implies acceptance of the following terms and conditions:


Payment

Payments must be by valid credit or debit card. Invalid or out of date cards will not function on this site.
The following credit/debit cards are accepted:
  • Visa
  • MasterCard

Payment can also be made through PayPal using additional credit cards such as American Express, Switch, Solo etc.

Handling

A handling charge may be included on all or some orders. Any charge is displayed prior to checkout.

Price

The price for the order is that ruling at the time of order placement. The price and the terms and conditions are deemed to be accepted the time of confirmation of order.

VAT

VAT is not itemised on receipts. e-paint.co.uk is not required to be registered for VAT.

Delivery

Whilst every effort will be made to deliver by the time specified, delivery times and dates are estimates only. E-paint.co.uk cannot not take responsibility for late deliveries other than those detailed below. For deliveries in the UK, the term "next day" means next working day and "2 days" means next 2 working days. Deliveries are not made at weekends or on bank holidays. Orders must be placed by 2.00 pm to qualify for that starting day. Orders received after 2.00 pm will be deemed to have been placed the following day. Delivery in the UK is by first class mail. Delivery outside of the UK is by airmail services only. We regret that we cannot use couriers. Please click here for the expected delivery times to various parts of the world.

Complaints

Damaged goods

e-paint.co.uk will credit for damaged goods or loss of product during delivery provided that the damage/loss is notified within 3 days of arrival by email to sales@e-paint.co.uk or signed for on arrival on the delivery paperwork to a maximum of the original purchase price including any delivery charges. Claims must be made within 48 hours of arrival. No other consequential loss will be considered or accepted.

Non-delivery

In the event of non-delivery of the goods within seven working days of the designated time of delivery, e-paint.co.uk will offer a full refund including VAT if appropriate, handling and delivery charge. No other consequential loss will be considered or accepted. We regret that we cannot send replacements for non-delivery to PO boxes in the United Arab Emirates.

Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund if the items have not yet been dispatched. This normally means within 5 hours of order receipt.

Returned Goods

Products can be returned to e-paint.co.uk for a full refund provided that the product remains in its un-opened original packaging and is not older than 30 days from the date of invoice. The cost of return transport and handling may be deducted from any credit. Products bought on "special offer" are not eligible for return.

Title

Ownership of the goods/products will remain with e-paint.co.uk until payment is received.

Law

Disputes will be judged under English law.
